Hello

Hi, I’m Giulia, a multidisciplinary designer! I move across different fields: from product design to visual communication, from graphics to social design. This variety allows me to keep a broad and flexible perspective, able to adapt to different contexts without ever losing attention to detail and project coherence.

In my free time, I dedicate myself to embroidery and the discovery of new teas—passions that reflect my love for craftsmanship, my eye for detail, and my ability to appreciate the little things.

I believe design is a tool for connection: between people, languages, and skills. That’s why I enjoy collaborating, exchanging ideas, and creating projects that combine aesthetics, functionality, and storytelling.

If you think we could work together, I’d be happy to hear from you!

my background

I graduated from the Polytechnic University of Turin in 2018 in Product and Visual Communication Design , building the foundations of my multidisciplinary approach and learning to integrate creativity and functionality in projects. I then continued my studies at ISIA in Florence, where the master's course in Product Design offered me a stimulating environment to deepen specific skills in design.

During my university career, I had an Erasmus experience in France at the Université de Nîmes, following the Master Innovation, Design, Société : here I approached social design and design thinking through fieldwork and participatory methods, discovering how design can have a concrete impact on society.

Back in Italy, I developed my master's thesis Lo Spazio del Pubblico , a regeneration project of a former railway area in western Liguria, carried out through a participatory process with the local community. The work, which combines design, social attention and environmental sustainability, was awarded in 2022 with the XVI National Arts Award "for its ability to create relationships with the territory, citizens and institutions".

These experiences have defined my way of designing: attentive, participatory and people-oriented. After a first experience in the artistic-cultural field, I moved into the world of furniture and product design, without ever losing sight of the social aspect of design. In fact, I continue to cultivate this interest by participating in dedicated workshops and training courses, such as Progettare cultura per il territorio (Dialoghi d'Arte, 2023), which aims to enhance cultural heritage through design.

Today I carry out projects that bring together aesthetics, function and context, with an approach that is always open to discussion and listening.
